GOT1000 > GOT2000
GOT1000 HMIs have been well accepted and used in various applications for many years. However, some of their components have reached their end of life. For that reason already some years ago Mitsubishi Electric introduced its GOT2000 HMIs as the successor series.
GOT2000 HMIs provide enhanced visualization capabilities as well as a higher integration level within the Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation portfolio. At the same time with Open Frame and Rugged models, the GOT2000 series offers an extended line-up compared to the GOT1000 series.
Mitsubishi Electric supports the transition process from GOT1000 to GOT2000 offering identical cut-out dimensions, easy HMI software project conversion and documentation.
Process
- Identify install base of obsolete technology
- Identify system requirements and available budget
- Use Mitsubishi Electric’s technical support as needed
